Let them know about www.World-SprintCar-Guide.com World of Outlaws UpdateWith 13 rounds down, the 2007 World of Outlaws Sprint Series looks like being a battle between Joey Saldana and defending Champion Donny Schatz. Saldana currently has a 4 point advantage over Schatz, having won 4 A-Features. 100 points further back from Schatz is Daryn Pittman, who scored his only win back on February 11 at Volusia Speedway Park, Florida.The top 5 points placings are: Joey Saldana (1880), Donny Schatz (1876), Daryn Pittman (1776), Danny Lasoski (1722), Craig Dollansky (1708)
Up-coming rounds of the WoO Sprint Series are:
April 20 - Attica Raceway Park, Attica, Ohio Freezing Temperatures Create HavocRecent freezing conditions across the Midwest and Northeast of the US have caused the cancellation of numerous events. The opening weekend of USAC’s National Sprint Car series on April 14 & 15 at Indiana’s Twin Cities Raceway Park & Anderson Speedway were both cancelled as were the WoO events at Eldora Speedway (Ohio) on April 14 and I-55 Raceway (Missouri) on April 7.Also to fall victim to the conditions were the April 6 & 7 All Star shows at Attica Raceway Park (Ohio), scheduled meetings at Williams Grove (Pennsylvania), Port Royal (Pennsylvania), Sedalia (Missouri), Wayne County Speedway (Ohio), Limaland Motorsports Park (Ohio), Heart O' Texas Speedway (Texas) and Mercer Raceway Park (Pennsylvania).
On April 7 a practice at Eldora Speedway was cancelled after crews cleared the track of nearly one inch of snow Saturday morning, only to find the clay oval completely frozen.
New Direction for World Series SprintcarsAustralia’s premier Sprint Car series, World Series Sprintcars, heads into a new era after the National Association of Speedway Racing (NASR) announced the decision to award the licence to Speedway Promotions Australia (SPA). The SPA is a consortium of six tracks including Kwinana, Speedway City, Premier Speedway, Latrobe Speedway, TPCR and BIS.
The SPA will take over from Wade Aunger of AA Motorsports who has successfully promoted the series for the past six years.
World of Outlaws TV ScheduleFor Sprint Car Racing fans in the US, the World of Outlaws TV schedule has been released. All of the air dates are on Sundays, with the "Summer of Money" on ESPN2 running for eight consecutive weeks at 12:30 p.m. Eastern.

June 3, 1-2pm - Williams Grove Speedway on SPEED
July 1, 12.30-1.30pm - Red River Valley Speedway on ESPN2

Nov 4, 4-5pm - The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway on SPEED Green Wins TPCRTrack ChampionshipTrevon Green has captured his third Coca-Cola Sprintcar Track Championship after the final round of the series at Sydney's Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway was washed out on Saturday, April 7.Inclement weather plagued the championship with only 17 rounds of the 22-round series being contested.
The final top-ten standings in the Coca-Cola Sprintcar Track Championship for the 2006-2007 season are as follows: Trevor Green (3706 points), Grant Tunks (3638), Ian Madsen (3595), Ian Loudoun (3567), Adrian Maher (3548), Troy Little (3517), Mark Richards (3478), Mark Blyton (3472), James Thompson (3466), Marty Perovich (3460).

Recent additions include footage of a Sprint Car doing a complete flip and continuing on to finish 2nd!2008 Australian Sprintcar ChampionshipSydney’s Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway has been announced as the host venue of the 2008 National Sprintcar Championship by the Sprintcar Control Council of Australia. The title will be decided over three nights of racing on January 31, February 1 and 2.
