Cool Chassis has quickly established itself as Australia’s leading chassis manufacturer since producing it’s first sprint car chassis in 2001. John Cooley, the man behind the company, grew up in New Zealand where he fell in love with the sport of Speedway racing. In 1996 he moved to Warrnambool, Australia, where his love for speedway was reignited.

In 2000 John decided to follow his dream and to have a go at building Sprint Car chassis. Beginning as a chassis repair business, word of the quality of “Cooley’s” workmanship soon spread and before he new it Cooley was a very busy man. The first chassis produced was for Victorian driver John Vogel.

Cool Sprint Cars have achieved amazing results in a short period including winning four World Series Sprintcars championships, the 2005 Knoxville Raceway track title, three Grand Annual Sprintcar Classics as well as winning the 2006, 2007, 2010 & 2011 Australian Sprintcar Championship. John Cooley has also been awarded the “Manufacturer of the year” award in the Australian National Sprintcar poll four times since 2000.

Fueled by great results the popularity of the chassis has increased not only in Australia, but in the USA as well. Cooley has now delivered over 200 Sprint Car chassis.
