Schnee Chassis

After beginning as a car parts and chassis repair business in 1985, the first Schnee Chassis hit the track in 1987. The second chassis built went on to win two track championships that year driven by Marlon Jones of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

In the winter of 1988-89 Brian Schnee’s brother-in-law, Doug Wolfgang, helped him design a chassis which he campaigned from 1989-1992. The success of this car at the hands of Wolfgang in this period greatly assisted in the growth of the company.

Drivers such as Kenny Jacobs, Gary Wright, Lance Dewease, Donnie Krietz, Mark Keegan, Danny Lasoski and many others have contributed to the success of the company.

The Schnee workshop, situated in Canton, South Dakota is equipped with their own CNC equipment which allows Schnee to fabricate 90% of the parts they sell in-house. Producing only 60-70 cars a year they are able to custom build cars and part for their customers. Schee Chassis pride themselves on being able to provide better service and support than the larger chassis manufacturers.
