Aussie Ryan Jones goes for a wild ride

This Wild Sprint Car Crash Video captures Australia's Ryan Jones ride out a huge accident at the 360 Sprintcar Nationals held at Speedway City on January 3, 2009. Jones, who is a two-time Australian 360 Sprintcar Champion, made contact with Craig Vandersteldt at the first corner of the A-Main, resulting in a wild series of flips into the turn two fence. The accident caused major damage to the fence, with the promoter having to clear the grandstand before racing could commence.

Jones was able to safely climb from his badly damaged Triple X chassis unscathed.
