Justin Youngquist began his racing career racing mini sprints at Deming Speedway in Deming, Washington at the age of 10. Now 15, he currently races a Sportsman Sprint at Skagit Speedway on a weekly basis.
Justin is the third generation driver in the Youngquist family. He has been racing for six years, after starting in the Kasey Kahne Junior Sprint Class at Deming Speedway. Starting in the Juniors class, then moving into the 600cc Restricted Class at Deming, Justin then moved up to the PMP Chassis 600cc Open Class. In his most recent step up, Justin moved into the Cook Road Shell Sportsman Sprint Class at Skagit Speedway. Justin has participated in numerous events to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Burned Children's Recovery Foundation.
August 2010: Won second A-Feature by a mere .057 seconds
July 2010: Won first A-Main in a full size sprint car in just fourth race
June 2010: Started racing Sportsman Sprints at Skagit Speedway
2009: Won 'Most Improved Driver' in 600cc Class at Deming Speedway
2009: Finished 27th out of 50 in final points standings (only 1/2 season completed)
2009: Won A-Main in 600cc Restricted Class while filling in for another driver
2008: Raced partial season in 600cc Restricted Class at Deming Speedway
2007: First full season in 600cc Restricted Class
2006: Voted 'Sportsman of the Year' and 'Best Appearing Car' in Junior Sprint Class
2006: Won first main event in Kasey Kahne Junior Sprints
2005: First season racing
Some of Justin's future goals are to win the 2011 Cook Road Shell Sportsman Sprint Series Championship and in 2012 travel to Oregon and California to compete in 360 sprint races. He would eventually like to race a 360 sprint car full time and become successful in the series. Finally, his main goal is to race in the National ASCS Series, World of Outlaws, and NASCAR.
